So I decided to ombre my hair again for the summer, but this time with much more blonde.

Today I did two bleachings of my hair and its SUPER brassy…basically its orange.

This happened last time, so I’m not too worried, but it bothers me not being able to just bleach it and have it look perfect.

This time to speed up the de-brassing process, I bought a special purple shampoo for blonde hair. I’ve used it twice today (once when I washed my hair with the first bleaching, and again the second time) and I noticed a tiny difference, but its still brassy.

So here’s my plan to get my hair to this:(I don’t own this picture, I just found it on tumblr when I searched ombre)

1. Wash with the purple shampoo for three days.

2.  Add more bleach to the spots that need it and to blend a little more.

3. If needed, go over my roots and some of the blonde pieces with a medium ash brown to help blend and even out the hair.

4. And if my plan fails, go to a salon and get it fixed.

The hardest part about all of this is not being able to do it all in one day. I’m so impatient!
